For Abby, a 3-year, 3-month-old SP mare, moving to a new stable, her first real environment, upended her world.

• Moved from her birth stable (I’m her second owner)

• After the move, she became extremely shy, anxious, and distrustful off the pasture

• Heat season didn’t help: she followed a gelding but didn’t want to leave him, didn’t want to be alone

• Clicker training helped, but after a month she regressed, it was like everything was new again

• Refused to leave the pasture, distracted in training, nickering, running uncontrollably in the arena, infrequent droppings from stress

Hempqualizer+ Results:

• Started 2 ml on 13 June- too low

• Increased to 3 ml after consultation on 17 June

• Given 1 hour before leaving pasture → noticeably calmer, head lowered calmly

• Not bothered by tractors near arena

• During training focused on me, eager to learn, responding to voice cues only, big success for me
