In this case study we share practical insights into the use of Hempqualizer Compete with four horses of different temperaments and training challenges: Jard (15-year-old gelding, ~75% Thoroughbred, known for explosiveness), Mosbby (9-year-old Irish gelding, highly reactive to environment), Blanco (8-year-old gelding with a high percentage of Thoroughbred blood, prone to distraction), and Meggi (6-year-old mare, tense in the dressage arena).
The observations were made by Jan Kamiński – Polish eventing rider, founder of the Equikam club, two-time Olympian in Tokyo 2020 (29th individual, 13th team) and Paris 2024 (EL individual after cross-country, 15th team). Polish Senior Champion 2018 on the stallion Senior, winner of the Polish Eventing Cup 2023. In the 2025 season he won the CCI3*-S in Strzegom with the mare Canvalencia (36.9 points) and was part of Poland’s historic first Nations Cup victory at home (CCIO4*-NC-S, Strzegom). Later that summer he represented the country in Arville.
In this report Jan explains step by step how he administered the product, how doses were adjusted depending on weight and sensitivity, and how timing influenced calmness, focus and cooperation with the rider – both in warm-up and performance. A concise, practical guide to building your own protocol and preparing sport horses for demanding competition conditions

Summary
Hempqualizer Compete has clearly helped four very different horses with varying temperaments and issues – from explosiveness to stress or distractibility. In each case, focus, calmness, and cooperation with the rider improved. However, it is evident that the correct dosage is crucial – larger horses may require a higher dose or earlier administration, while more sensitive horses respond better to smaller amounts. The most important part is to determine the right amount and timing for each individual horse. In all cases, the effect was clearly visible.
Based on these experiences, I can recommend Hempqualizer Compete as an effective support for sport and nervous horses – with the right dosage, the product delivers very positive results from the very first applications. It helps our horses reach their full potential, no matter the environment.
