Karamba – energy, power and... rodeo? How we managed to control a sporting volcano’s emotions with Hempqualizer Compete

Karamba is a 5-year-old gelding whose energy could power several horses. A powerhouse with great athletic potential, working with him is a real pleasure – as long as emotions don’t take over. He loves galloping and jumping, but sometimes after a jump his excitement turns into a full-blown rodeo show. These rides often end with the rider’s unplanned landing... on the ground.

Looking for a way to help Karamba manage his emotions and focus fully on the rider, the @zh_eventing team decided to try Hempqualizer Compete. The results exceeded expectations. The horse kept his energy and willingness to work but was finally able to channel it in a controlled way, without unnecessary antics.

Karamba is a five-year-old gelding, an energy volcano with tremendous strength and sporting potential. He loves galloping and jumping – it’s his element. However, during training or competition, his emotions can take over... and the rodeo begins. After a jump, Karamba can buck so hard that the ride ends on the ground.

Before a show, we decided to try 2 ml of Compete paste, given half an hour before the round. The result? Amazing. Karamba retained his energy and willingness to work but focused completely on the rider. The round was smooth, with no extra antics – and we were finally able to fully enjoy his abilities.
